The Ecolite 12.8V 110Ah lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery is a compact deep-cycle energy storage solution designed for recreational vehicles, solar systems, marine use, and off-grid power applications. With a total energy capacity of 1408Wh, it provides stable and efficient DC power for a wide range of low-voltage systems.

Built with integrated battery management technology, this system ensures safe operation, optimized performance, and long service life under frequent charge and discharge conditions. This battery uses LiFePO4 chemistry, which is widely recognized as one of the safest lithium technologies due to its high thermal stability and strong resistance to overcharging and overheating.

It integrates a smart BMS system that continuously monitors voltage, current, and temperature to ensure safe and balanced operation of all cells. The system is optimized for deep-cycle use, making it suitable for daily energy storage applications.

The battery supports fast charging, high discharge current output, and a wide operating temperature range, allowing stable performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. It is lightweight, maintenance-free, and environmentally friendly, making it suitable for modern renewable energy systems.

Electrical Performance

The battery operates at a nominal voltage of 12.8V with a rated capacity of 110Ah, delivering a total energy storage capacity of 1408Wh. Internal resistance is maintained at ≤30mΩ to ensure efficient power delivery and stable output performance.

Discharge Performance

The battery supports a continuous discharge current of 100A, making it suitable for powering high-demand DC loads in RVs and off-grid systems. It can also handle short pulse discharge currents up to 320A for very short durations (up to 320ms), supporting sudden peak load demands.

The recommended discharge cut-off voltage is 10V, while the BMS protection cut-off is also set at 10V. The system automatically reconnects at 10.8V once the voltage recovers. In case of abnormal short-circuit conditions, protection is triggered within 300–800 microseconds to ensure system safety.

Charging System

Charging is managed through a CC-CV algorithm to ensure stable and efficient energy storage. The charging voltage range is set between 14.2V and 14.6V, while the recommended float voltage is 13.5V to 13.8V for long-term maintenance charging.

The recommended charging current is 50A, while the maximum allowable charging current is 100A for fast charging scenarios. The BMS charging protection threshold is set at 14.8V to prevent overvoltage and protect the battery cells.

Temperature Adaptability

It is equipped with 50A/120A Anderson terminals for secure and stable electrical connection. The enclosure is rated IP30, making it suitable for protected indoor or enclosed installation environments.
