Product Overview

The LTO 33.6V 30Ah battery is a high-performance energy storage solution developed for mini inverter systems and residential solar applications. With a total energy capacity of 1008Wh, it stores excess photovoltaic energy generated during daylight hours and releases it when solar production decreases, allowing households to increase solar self-consumption and lower electricity expenses. Designed with advanced Lithium Titanate Oxide (LTO) technology, this battery combines long service life, excellent safety, and outstanding low-temperature performance, making it especially suitable for outdoor and cold-climate installations.

Technical Specifications

This battery operates at a nominal voltage of 33.6V and provides a rated capacity of 30Ah, delivering a total stored energy of 1008Wh. The internal cell arrangement adopts a 14S20P configuration, while internal resistance remains at ≤65mΩ for efficient power delivery. Energy conversion efficiency reaches up to 98%, and monthly self-discharge remains below 5%, helping preserve stored energy during idle periods. The battery measures 515mm × 540mm × 85mm, weighs 25.5kg, and uses a durable aluminum enclosure with an IP67 protection rating, ensuring both mechanical strength and weather resistance.


Charging Characteristics

The battery uses a constant current / constant voltage (CC-CV) charging method to optimize battery life and maintain stable operation. The charging voltage range is 38.5V to 39.2V, while the BMS charging cut-off point is set at 39.8V to prevent overcharging. For long-term operation and maximum cycle life, a recommended charging current of 15A is advised, although the system also supports charging currents up to 30A. The suggested float voltage range at full state of charge is 37.8V to 38.5V.

Discharge Performance

For power output, the battery supports a continuous discharge current of 30A, making it suitable for household energy storage loads and mini inverter applications. Short-duration peak loads are also supported with a 45A pulse discharge capability for less than one second. The battery management system stops discharge at 21V and reconnects automatically at 23.8V, protecting the cells from excessive depletion. In addition, short-circuit protection activates extremely quickly within 300 to 800 microseconds, improving operational safety.

Wide Temperature Operation

One of the key advantages of LTO technology is its ability to work reliably under extreme environmental conditions. This battery supports charging, discharging, and storage within a temperature range of -30°C to +60°C. Unlike conventional lithium batteries that often require preheating in freezing environments, this system can charge directly at -30°C without any heater, reducing installation complexity and power consumption. The BMS also includes a high-temperature cut-off function set at 65°C to protect the battery under extreme operating conditions.

Long Service Life

Compared with traditional lithium and lead-acid batteries, the LTO chemistry offers significantly longer lifespan. The battery is rated for more than 10,000 cycles under 1C charge/discharge conditions at 80% depth of discharge, while still retaining at least 80% of original capacity. Under a typical residential application with one charge and discharge cycle per day, the expected operating lifetime can exceed 27 years, greatly reducing replacement frequency and long-term ownership cost.

Solar Integration Design

To simplify installation, the battery is equipped with dual MC4 connectors for direct solar integration. The photovoltaic input accepts DC 33V to 150V, supporting up to 30A current and 1000W input power, enabling direct connection to solar panels. The output connector provides DC 21V to 39.2V, with a maximum output of 30A and 1000W, allowing convenient connection to mini inverters. This plug-and-play design minimizes wiring work and speeds up deployment.

Outdoor Protection and Enclosure

The battery housing uses an aluminum structure and carries an IP67 protection level, providing complete dust resistance and waterproof capability. It can withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, making it suitable for outdoor installations such as balconies, rooftops, gardens, and exposed environments. The aluminum structure also helps dissipate heat naturally, improving thermal management during operation.

Battery Management System Protection

An integrated Battery Management System continuously monitors battery operation and provides comprehensive protection functions. These include charging overvoltage protection, discharge undervoltage protection, charge and discharge overcurrent protection, high-temperature protection, low-temperature protection, and cell balancing management. These safety features help maintain battery consistency, extend service life, and ensure stable operation.

Application Areas

The battery is optimized for household solar storage systems using mini inverters and is designed to store surplus solar power generated during the daytime for use during evening hours. Installation Guidance

For installation, the battery should be placed on a stable surface protected from strong mechanical impact. Although the IP67 design allows outdoor deployment, sufficient airflow should be maintained around the enclosure to support passive cooling. Solar panels connect directly through the PV input MC4 connector, while the output side links to the mini inverter. Since the battery already integrates a BMS, no additional charging controller is required. To maximize lifespan, frequent discharge below 21V should be avoided.
