With a nominal voltage of 12.8V and 80Ah capacity, this battery provides clean reliable energy while weighing only half that of a comparable lead acid battery. The built in Battery Management System includes self balancing functionality, ensuring each cell stays within optimal voltage range for maximum cycle life and safety.
Performance Highlights
Cycle life exceeds 2000 cycles at full depth of discharge, meaning years of daily use before reaching 80 percent of original capacity. Fast charging capability allows a full charge in approximately one hour when using a suitable charger. High current starting capacity reaches 30C, making this battery capable of cranking large engines or handling surge loads for inverters and motors. Self discharge is extremely low at less than 2 percent per month, so the battery holds its charge during long storage periods without frequent maintenance charging.
High Working Voltage
Unlike lead acid batteries that drop voltage quickly under load, this LiFePO4 battery maintains a high working voltage above 12.8V for most of the discharge cycle. This stable voltage keeps sensitive electronics running smoothly and improves efficiency of inverters and pumps.
Built in BMS with Self Balancing
The integrated Battery Management System monitors voltage, current, and temperature of each cell. Self balancing function automatically equalizes cell voltages during charging, preventing drift that can reduce capacity over time. The BMS also provides protection against overcharge, over discharge, over current, short circuit, and extreme temperatures.

With maximum charge current capability, this battery can reach full charge from empty in about one hour. For users who need quick turnaround between trips or during daytime solar cycles, fast charging reduces downtime. Use a CC CV charger set to 14.2V to 14.6V for best results.

Weighing approximately half of a lead acid battery of similar capacity, the LFP12.8V80Ah is easy to handle and install. Reduced weight also improves fuel efficiency in RVs and boats and puts less stress on mounting structures. The compact size leaves more room for other equipment.
Wide Temperature Range
This battery operates reliably across a broad temperature window. Discharge from -20°C to 60°C allows use in cold winter conditions and hot engine compartments. Charge from 0°C to 55°C ensures safe recharging in most environments. The BMS will block charging below freezing to protect cells.
